Combining PerfEQ's Biothane craftsmanship with Beaux Equestrian's signature rope and paracord braiding, we've created a unique, colourful and practical bitless bridle that's designed to be easy to use, easy to care for and completely customisable.
 
With 30+ paracord colours to choose from, you can create your perfect combination for the noseband and browband. You can even select different sizes for different sections, making this a great option for horses who are a little more awkward to fit.
 
This was particularly important to me as a horse owner, I know first-hand how frustrating it can be when your horse doesn't fit neatly into one standard bridle size!

Please note: The foam padding underneath the noseband is black and will remain black regardless of the Biothane colour selected. For example, a Dark Brown Biothane bridle will still have black padding underneath the braided noseband.
 
🐴 How does a sidepull work?
Unlike a traditional bridle, a sidepull does not use a bit inside the horse's mouth. Rein pressure is instead transferred through the side rings and noseband, creating pressure around the nose and sides of the face.
 
The noseband should sit approximately 2 to 3 fingers below the cheekbone. It is important that the noseband isn't fitted too high or too low, and that your bridle is correctly adjusted for your individual horse.
 
As with any bitless bridle, please take the time to familiarise yourself and your horse with the equipment before riding, and always ensure it is fitted correctly.

We offer different sizing options for the browband and noseband, so you don't necessarily need to choose the same size for both.
 
Browband measurements:
Shetland: 13"
Pony: 14"
Cob: 15"
Full: 16"
Extra Full: 17"
Shire: 19"
Draught: 21"
 
Noseband measurements:
Shetland: 11"
Pony: 12"
Cob: 13"
Full: 14"
Extra Full: 15"
 
These measurements refer to the length between the side rings of the noseband.
Please check the measurements carefully against your horse's current bridle before ordering. Every bridle is made to order from scratch, so we are unfortunately unable to accept exchanges or refunds if the incorrect size has been selected.

This bridle is a true collaboration between Beaux Equestrian and PerfEQ, bringing together two different areas of craftsmanship to create something a little different. PerfEQ professionally makes the Biothane bridle components, while the noseband and browband are individually braided, hand-sewn and finished by Beaux Equestrian.

Each bridle is made especially for you, so please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your order to be completed.
